Beyond Binaries Event – Postponed

Beyond Binaries has been postponed due to COVID-19 protection measures

While it is not possible for us to continue as planned with the Beyond Binaries gathering on May 9th, PiE is working on creating alternative offerings later in the spring/summer….where we can celebrate the gifts of the LGBTQ+ community to the church and learn more together.

Beyond Binaries is a day to celebrate the gifts of the Queer community to the church. Come away with inspiration and resources for the work of creating radically inclusive churches.

Whether you are a church leader or simply interested in this work, join the conversation with Queer Christians and other affirming churches. Come with an open heart, a curious mind, and a creative spirit as we listen for how the Spirit is moving us beyond binaries.

Tentative Schedule for Beyond Binaries 2020:

9-9:30 am – Arrival and Registration
9:30 am – Opening Worship
10:30 am – LGBTQ2SIAA+ 101 Session
11 am – Queer Elders Panel: Learning our History
Hear stories from Queer Elders about the long struggle for
justice and inclusion in the church.

12:00 pm – LUNCH!

1:30 pm – Workshop One
2:30 pm – Workshop Two
3:30 pm – Closing Session
