When have you experienced God’s love and wisdom through the natural world? Some of my most powerful experiences of God have taken place in the wild. Laying out on the rocks looking up at the stars on back country camping trips I always have the feeling that I am surrounded by a loving God and that my place in the universe is small but not insignificant. These days it’s hard to find opportunities to be in the wilderness but walks in city parks and even on the sidewalk help to ground me and remind of my place in this more than human world. 🌎❤️🦋🌳
When have I been transfigured? Who has witnessed my transfiguration? When have I witnessed transfiguration in others?
Tomorrow's Queerly Christian is a games night! Join us for scattergories, jackbox games, scribbl and more :) We meet on zoom from 730 to 830pm.
Important reminder: you are beloved! Yesterday was the first Sunday of Lent, so time for a new card to reflect on. Complete this sentence with your own name and know that it is true: “____________is my beloved, my own. On ____________ my favour rests.”
